Summer 2023 Forrester Construction Update

CELEBRATING SUMMER AND EXCITING NEWS AT FORRESTER

This summer, Forrester Construction Company has a lot to be excited about.

First and foremost, we are thrilled to introduce our new President, Kristin Prudhomme. After a diligent search, Forrester has chosen a president who will best lead, inspire, and grow our company as we continue providing award-winning construction management, preconstruction, and design-build services. During her time at Forrester thus far, Kristin has enjoyed visiting our unique projects across the DMV, meeting our building partners, and getting to know our team members (including our 2023 Summer Interns!).

It was exciting to watch our summer interns develop their confidence and construction knowledge on several Forrester projects, including the $62M Mount Vernon Rec Center and $22M STSA Coptic Church. We are already looking forward to the fall when we’ll hit the road to look for our 2024 Summer Interns and entry-level project engineers at university career fairs.

Forrester continues to build award-winning projects throughout the DMV, and some of our hottest markets are currently faith-based, healthcare, education, and public work. Over the summer, our team celebrated the completion of projects like the $46M UM Laurel Medical Center (shown in the video above) and received an ENR Award of Merit for the $38M Sunrise of Vienna!

We still have so much to look forward to, as we were recently awarded projects like the $39M Calvert County Administrative Building and $48M+ Kensington Senior Living in Bethesda.

While we help transform the DMV, it’s also important for us to build our team and develop our culture. We’ve enjoyed coming together for several team-building events, including our Annual Meeting, a Washington Nationals Game, and the End of Summer Carnival.

Talking about summer fun, Forrester is proud to have sponsored several golf tournaments that benefit our industry associations and the community. The Forrester team took a swing at the ABC MW Golf Outing and took home wins at both the NAIOP DC|MD and WBC Golf Outings!
