American Society of Hematology

This LEED™ Platinum project by Forrester Construction involved an exterior façade renovation and interior build-out for the American Society of Hematology (ASH), a professional society concerned with the causes and treatments of blood disorders. Located at 2021 L Street, NW, the new ASH headquarters facility consists of ten above-grade floors with two levels of below-grade parking.

For this project, Forrester built-out the top five floors and replaced the building’s main HVAC system. The facility now includes a cafeteria, a fitness center, office spaces and a large conference space with operable partitions on the 10th floor. The ASH offices also feature an open communicating glass stairway that connects the sixth through ninth floors.
