The Dupont Hotel

The Dupont Hotel, renovated by Forrester Construction, is located in Washington DC’s vibrant Dupont Circle neighborhood on New Hampshire Avenue, NW.  The renovation of this 155,000 SF hotel included more than 300 guest rooms as well as the lobby, restaurant, bar and all common areas. The project also included the addition of a ninth floor to the existing eight-story structure to house 13 new luxury suites.

This renovation project required improvements to the hotel’s MEP and structural systems as well as interior build-out work and high-end finish installation. These renovations included improvements to the building’s façade and porte cochere, replacement of elevator systems, upgrades to the kitchen and retrofitting of the MEP systems. The project’s interior build-out work created several new spaces including an administrative office, a business center, a club lounge and a function room for hosting large events.
