NRMC Headquarters and Dental Clinic

For this project, Forrester Constuction erected new buildings for NRMC Headquarters and Dental Clinic in Ft. Belvoir, VA.   Forrester constructed a new 50,000 SF, three-story building for the Northern Regional Medical Command (NRMC) headquarters and a new 15,000 SF, one-story dental clinic located adjacent to NRMC.

The construction of the new NRMC headquarters included an administrative building, standby generator and building information systems. Supporting utilities involved electric service, water, sewer and gas. Site improvement such as parking, walkways, storm drainage systems and access for individuals with disabilities was also provided. The facility was built for anti-terrorism measures and features state-of-the-art information systems, an intrusion detection system and connection to a Utilities Monitoring & Control System (UMCS). The new dental clinic replaced an existing 27 Dental Treatment Room (DTR) facility and provides dental care to troops and their families at Fort Belvoir.
