Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill

For this project, Forrester Construction renovated the 11,000 SF ballroom, meeting rooms and common areas of Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill.  It was in the final stage of a series of renovations that transformed the downtown hotel.  The Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill is located at 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW within walking distance of the Capitol, the National Mall and the Smithsonian Museums.

The remodeled spaces received new finishes in a contemporary style. The décor features dark walnut woodwork, gold tone wall coverings and custom light fixtures and wool carpeting. Energy efficient fluorescent cove and recessed lighting were also installed. The project required the installation of a number of custom elements. A cascading sculpture of reflective metal coils and six state-of-the-art LCD screens are mounted in the escalator atrium.
