H. Carl Moultrie Courthouse/ Indiana Avenue Entrance Renovation, Washington, DC
June 11, 2008 – Forrester Construction has been awarded the H. Carl Moultrie Courthouse/ Indiana Avenue Entrance Renovation in Washington, DC. This project will involve the demolition and renovation of five vestibule entrances and expansion of the lobby area. The project will be complex because the courthouse, which has the highest volume of foot traffic in the country, will remain in operation throughout construction. The courthouse is open six days a week and on all holidays.

The Owner is the District of Columbia Courts and the Owner’s Representative is Charron Consulting of Dulles, VA. The architect is Zivic & Hurdle Architects of Fairfax, Virginia. Construction is scheduled to begin in mid-September 2008 and finish the end of March, 2009.
