Coastal Flats

For this repeat client, Forrester Construction built-out a 10,600 SF Coastal Flats restaurant to house the chain’s third location in the Downtown Crown development in Gaithersburg, Maryland.  As Great American Restaurants’ newest restaurant concept, the Coastal Flats restaurants serve classic coastal favorites in a beach house atmosphere.

Construction included the interior fit-out of a core and shell mixed-use commercial and retail space. The completed restaurant includes a full service kitchen, dining area and an outdoor patio, as well as high-end finishes such as exposed structural wood trusses, mahogany millwork, custom glass work, terrazzo flooring and stone tops.
